Flow Console Table

The Flow console table is a real statement piece of furniture! I wanted to create a simple but elegant solid form that would lend its self perfectly to gilding.

Two flowing curves cut through each other to form the structure of the frame. The curves single central point of contact appears to defy gravity. A generous piece of toughened glass perches on top of four stainless steel mounts, a simple top that allows an un-obstructed view of the frame below.

Solid forms like the Flow console are ideally suited for gilding in a wide variety of metals. Wide flat areas show off the characteristic patchwork of the silver leaf exquisitely; whilst the tighter curves reflect the light forming an ever changing kaleidoscope of patterns on the floor and walls.

My branded makers mark sits discreetly in a lower corner, subtly picked out by the gilding. The Flow console table carries a real wow factor, could it be that stand out piece you’ve been hunting for?
