Carved in the traditional English oak, this intricate green man is a pleasure to look upon.

The face of a man interwoven with oak leaves is said to represent the ancient pagan deity ‘the spirit of nature’. Green men have been carved by craftsmen throughout the centuries. A skill I am proud to keep alive today.

No two green men are ever the same, they gradually evolve from the timber as I hand carve them from a solid block. Every piece of timber is special, each tree has a different story; therefore every green man is unique.
